What the registry is
The Florida Medical Marijuana Use Registry is the state's official database for the medical marijuana program. It records physician certifications, patient and caregiver applications, and the status of registry identification cards. The Florida Department of Health operates it through the Office of Medical Marijuana Use (OMMU).
This practice does not run the registry and has no influence over state processing. When you have a registry question — login trouble, application status, card delivery — the authoritative answer lives with the state, not with us.
What patients do in the registry
After a qualified physician enters your certification, you receive the state's instructions for the registry. There you create or access your account, confirm your information, complete the state's application, upload any required documentation, and pay the state fee. The same account is where you later check application status and manage renewals.
Keep your registry credentials safe and your contact information current. State notices about your application and your card go through the registry and the contact details on file — a stale email address can cost you weeks.
What the practice can and cannot do

Is the registry run by this practice?
No. The registry is operated by the Florida Department of Health through the Office of Medical Marijuana Use. We are a physician practice — we guide you through the process, but the state's system belongs to the state.
Do I need a registry account before my evaluation?
No. The sequence starts with the physician. If the physician certifies you, the certification is entered into the registry, and you then receive the state's instructions for completing your side of the application.
Who do I contact about registry login or application problems?
The state. The official registry site lists current support contacts. We can explain the steps, but we cannot reset state accounts or see your place in the state's queue.
Does the practice decide what the state does with my application?
No. Physician certification and state approval are separate decisions. The physician decides whether to certify; the state alone decides whether to issue the registry identification card.
