Two separate systems are involved — the physician and the state. Knowing the difference saves you weeks.
Step 01
Physician evaluation
Meet a Florida qualified physician — in person for first certifications. The physician alone decides whether to certify. No approval is ever promised.
Step 02
Registry application
If certified, your physician enters the certification into the Florida Medical Marijuana Use Registry. You then complete the state's application and pay the state fee.
Step 03
State ID card
The state reviews your application and issues the registry ID card on its own timeline. We don't control state processing — but we help you stay on track.

Florida law enumerates specific qualifying conditions — and lets physicians evaluate comparable conditions of the same kind or class.
Important: a listed diagnosis never guarantees qualification. Only a qualified physician can determine eligibility after an evaluation.

Practice fees are charged by the practice for the physician evaluation. State fees are set and collected by the State of Florida through the registry — we do not control state fees or processing times. Every fee above carries an effective date; amounts are re-verified at each regulatory review. Cancellation policy: If you are not qualified by the physician, you are not charged for the evaluation. Appointments may be rescheduled without penalty up to 24 hours before the visit. (Placeholder policy — requires practice confirmation.)

No. A qualified physician must evaluate you and determine whether certification is appropriate — that decision is never guaranteed. After certification, the State of Florida separately controls the registry application and ID-card issuance.
Certification is a physician's determination, entered into the Florida Medical Marijuana Use Registry. The registry identification card is issued by the state after you apply and pay the state fee. They are separate steps with separate expiration schedules.
No. Under current Florida law, an initial certification requires an in-person physical examination by a qualified physician. Some renewals may qualify for telehealth when statutory conditions are met. We confirm the correct mode when scheduling.
There are two separate costs: the practice's evaluation fee and the state's registry ID-card fee. Every fee on our Costs & Fees page carries an effective date and, for state fees, an official source. We never hide or bundle the state fee.
Seasonal residents who live in Florida at least 31 consecutive days per calendar year may be eligible, subject to state documentation requirements. A qualified physician makes the final determination.

Our marketing form collects only scheduling information — never diagnosis details or medical records — and it is not presented as HIPAA-secure. Clinical information is exchanged only through appropriate clinical channels after your evaluation is scheduled.
