Accessibility statement
This site should work for every patient, including patients using assistive technology. Here is the standard we hold ourselves to, the measures built in today, and how to tell us when something falls short.

Our commitment
We are committed to making this website conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. That standard covers perceivability, operability, understandability, and robustness — in practice, it means the site should work with screen readers, keyboard navigation, zoom and text resizing, and reduced-motion settings, without losing content or functionality.
Accessibility is part of how this site is built, not a retrofit. It is checked at every content review, and new pages are expected to meet the same bar before they ship.
Measures built into this site
- Full keyboard navigation. Every interactive element — menus, forms, accordions, buttons — is reachable and operable with a keyboard alone, in a logical tab order.
- Visible focus. A high-contrast focus indicator appears on every focused element, so keyboard users always know where they are on the page.
- Reduced-motion support.The site honors your device's
prefers-reduced-motionsetting: scroll animations and transitions are disabled when you ask for less motion. - Touch targets of at least 44px. Buttons, links, and form controls meet a 44-pixel minimum target size, so they can be tapped accurately on any device.
- Checked color contrast. Text and interactive colors are chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios against their backgrounds.
- Semantic structure. Pages use proper landmarks and heading hierarchy, include a skip-to-content link, and label every form field with its error messages announced to assistive technology.
Known limitations
Some pages on this site are in draft status pending clinical and legal review; draft content is re-checked for accessibility before publication. External state websites we link to — including the official Florida registry — are operated by the state and are outside our control. If a third-party element ever falls short, we will say so here and offer an alternative route to the same information.
